Do you have ideas for some camping dinners to feed a large group of kids, adults, and elders?
I want to try something different this camping trip coming up next weekend ?

Hi Mary, It is many way to do outdoor cooking and it can be a lot of fun it depends how much work you would like to do. I love foil dinners when cooking outdoors some of my best dinners has been with help of foil, I did a post about foil dinners not so long agohttp://www.activekidsclub.com/cooking/soup/cookout-fish-en-papillote.html and Simple bites has a wonderful resource http://www.simplebites.net/the-beauty-of-foil-dinners-and-my-essential-camping-kitchen-tools/ But it might be a lot of work when feeding a lot of people, I think I would done a stew or ragu or even a soup for if I was going to feed a lot of people. You can prep at home and bring it with you on your trip. For the kids I would made something something called Twist bread http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-Campfire-Twists/ I'm going to this when I'm home in Norway I hope it helps ! Kari
