Our outdoor playgroup is going well.  Our biggest attendance had 18 children.  So far we've alternated between free play and playground visits with hiking.  Our most successful weeks have been the ones where there's been a hiking or walking focus.  Nature also seems to be important to the moms as opposed to visiting a playground so I'm trying do lots of nature walks and hikes.

Canada now has another official Outdoor Playgroup located in Calgary, Alberta. It is held every Friday morning at 10:30am. The location varies from week to week.  The group is aimed at the 2-4 year old toddler with younger siblings welcome to join.
