Mulberry Icing

 Royal Icing Using Egg Whites:

2 large (60 grams) egg whites

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

3 cups (330 grams) confectioners (powdered or icing) sugar, sifted

Beat egg whites and lemon juice together till it is white. Sift in confectioner’s sugar. Crush 4 mulberries and mix it with the icing. See the gorgeous color you get.

 I used the chocolate cupcake recipe from Martha Stewart and put some pansies for decoration. By the way, pansies are edible.
